U.S. Multi-State Deadline: June 1, 2018 – Bromfield
Gallery, one of Boston’s premier artist-run galleries, announces a call
for artists for its upcoming exhibition, the ‘Up Close and Personal’.
Open to all media, any interpretations. Artists may explore the idea
of looking closely at the world or themselves, and/or delving into their
personal lives. You are encouraged to address contemporary culture
regarding the realms of the personal vs. the public. Submit artwork that
provokes, challenges, illuminates!
On display July 6 – 29, 2018.
New England artists only. All work must be for sale and ready to hang on
the wall. No restrictions on size. Selected artwork must be dropped off
and picked up; no shipping.
Juried by a committee of Bromfield Gallery artists.
APPLY ONLINE – $35 for up to 3 images.
Artwork must represent the jpgs submitted online. Please prepare
carefully; no revisions are permitted after submission is complete.
Notification: June 22, 2018.
All work must be for sale. 50% gallery commission. Minimum sale price: $500.

Reception: Friday, July 6, 6-830 pm.
Drop off of selected artwork: Sunday, July 1, 12-5.

Founded in 1975, Bromfield Gallery is one of Boston’s premier artist-run
galleries. With an emphasis on New England artists, Bromfield shows
contemporary art in all media, including printmaking, sculpture,
painting, and drawing, as well as video, installation, and new media.
The gallery is located in Boston’s dynamic SOWA district (South of
Washington Street) in the South End, home to over two dozen contemporary
