26th Emerald Coast National Juried Fine Arts Exhibition

U.S. National Deadline: March 31, 2018 – The Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries are pleased to announce the 26th Emerald Coast National Juried Fine Arts Exhibition, May 19 – June 22, 2018.

Open to artists 18 years of age and older, living in the United States. All forms of art including painting, drawing, photography, graphics/ printmaking, digital art, sculpture, and ceramics are accepted. Work must have been completed after January 1, 2016. Work must be original and entirely the work of the artist.

This year’s juror is Dennis Harper, MFA, Curator of Collections and Exhibitions, Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art.

Prize money will total no less than $3000. As a special award for the first-place winner, a one-person show will be arranged in the Holzhauer Gallery of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries during the 2019 27th Emerald Coast National Juried Fine Arts Exhibition, along with $1000. The balance of the prize money will be awarded to the 2nd place, 3rd place, Honorable Mention, and other winners.

$35 for up to three submissions.

Selected artists will be notified by Monday, April 16, 2018 via email. Accepted entries must be ready for gallery installation.

The Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries consist of two adjoined galleries which together showcase about 20 different international, national and regional exhibitions each year. The Galleries also host workshops and lectures related to the exhibitions.

The Mattie Kelly Arts Center is a $25 million-dollar performing arts and educational complex that hosts Broadway’s best touring shows, visiting artists, dance and opera companies. The complex encompasses a 1,650 seat Mainstage theater which accommodates touring Broadway shows, the 195-seat, flexible Sprint Theater, an art wing with two galleries, a music wing, a visual arts building and the beautiful NWF State College amphitheater.

The complex is the home of the Humanities, Fine and Performing Arts Division of NWF State College.
