CICA Contemporary Art Solo Show Series

International Deadline: May 30, 2018 – CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in the Contemporary Art Solo Show Series and the publication. Each selected artist will have a solo exhibition for a week in the gallery space (around 44m2).

The artists will be also featured in the the e-book, “CICA Art Now #4,” which will be available via Amazon. The printed version will be available by order.

CICA fosters projects of experimental artists. We aim to provide a creative, yet comfortable space for artists and the community to nurture their creative and critical thinking with visual culture while they communicate with each other.

ENTRY FEE
No Application Fee. However, if your work is selected, you will be required to pay the show maintenance fee: $500 (USD).

SHIPPING
The artist is responsible for the shipment and delivery of his/her work to and from CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses.

APPLICATION
Please send us up to 10 JPG portfolio images (100-700 kilobytes per image recommended) and/or up to 3 direct links to video/ web/interactive art, your artist statement, and bio.

TIMELINE

  • May 30, 2018: Close submissions
  • June 15 – 30, 2018: Approvals: Selected artists will be notified by email.
  • Between December 2018 and May 2019: Contemporary Art Solo Show Series
  • August 1, 2019: Expected publication date of “CICA Art Now #4”

CICA Museum has a collection of artist Czong Ho Kim’s sculptures, paintings, and architecture, as well as many renowned international artists’ works.
