Roadside Art Seeking International Calligraphy
By Roadside Love Signs

International Deadline: Open Until Filled – Curators Katie Williams and Jacob Rafati, are calling artists worldwide to participate in a project that hopes to showcase a positive message of love that transcends all borders.

We are installing roadside signs on private property in California. These signs will say “love” in different languages.

We hope that people driving by will be captivated by this colorful roadside art. We also hope that this artwork may spark a conversation and a broader dialogue about immigration.

We are seeking native speakers of languages other than English to write the word “love” in your own handwriting, or calligraphy style. You are welcome to submit any ideas you have for the design, as well.

APPLY HERE – No Application Fee
Please see the mockup on our website.

If selected, you will be listed as a collaborator on this project and on our website. And, of course, on the signs!

Curators
Katie Williams, originally from East Tennessee, and Jacob Rafati, originally from Tabriz, Iran are multimedia artists seeking to collaborate with other artists to make this dream a reality.
