Creative Research Gallery’ announces it’s 8th Annual Exhibit of works by
Artists and their current or former professors.
Please Note – this is NOT a call for collaborative works. TAPPED will feature works made by distinct individuals.
THE TAPPING PROCESS
Submission to this exhibit may be initiated by either party. Artists
will seek out a professor who has been a key instructor to them or whose
work they particularly respect and ‘tap’ them to participate in this

students to participate. Either way, the ‘tapping’ is intended as a form
of honor and invitation. The type, style, media, etc. of the works by
each member may be very different. However, it is highly advised that
the pairs (or groups) of entrants discuss and consider their mutual
entries prior to submission. This is especially important for current

Manifest’s selection process involves a complex two-part system. This
exhibit will be juried by an anonymous multi-member panel of volunteer
professional and academic advisors with a broad range of expertise
relative to art and design.
Manifest Press will produce a high quality hard-cover
publication documenting each entire season of exhibits, artists, and
works shown. This continues Manifest’s commitment to long-term
documentation and dissemination of our projects, and the expansion of
physical exhibits into a broader geography and time frame, while also
bringing all exhibits together under one cover each year to create a
better product which will be more valuable to the public, teachers,
libraries, and exhibiting artists.
$40 for up to three entries submitted. $10 per each additional entry.

SALE OF ARTWORK
All work, unless indicated as not for sale (NFS), will be available for
sale during exhibit. Manifest Gallery will retain a commission of 30% of
the sale price on all artwork sold during the exhibition.

- November 6-13 – Notifications sent by email to all entrants sometime this week*
- ASAP – Hi-res images needed for season annual and PR
- December 9 – Artwork due to Manifest by this date
- December 14 – Special Preview
- December 15 – Public Opening
- January 12, 2018 – Final Day of Exhibition
- January 13-20, 2018 – Pick-up hand-delivered work
- January 17, 2018 – Schedule shipped artwork for pickup (arranged by artist)

Manifest Creative Research Gallery and Drawing Center is a 501(c)(3)
not-for-profit organization located in East Walnut Hills in Cincinnati,
Ohio. We serve as a venue for the display and experience of insightful,
thought provoking art and design, and functions as a hub for creative
research and innovation at all levels of artistic endeavor.
