Hand Drawn: Juried Drawing Exhibition

U.S. National Deadline: March 24 2020 – Smithtown Township Arts Council invites submissions for its upcoming juried fine art exhibition: “Hand Drawn” at Mills Pond Gallery.

Drawing in any medium, including but not limited to: graphite, pen, charcoal, ink wash, pastel, chalk, conte, colored pencils, and digital media. All subjects, styles and genres are encouraged, i.e. fine art, illustration, design, conceptual, realism, digital, expressive, abstract etc. All drawings must be original. Prints, watercolors, photos and scanned digital photography manipulated by an app will not be considered.

On display April 25 – May 29, 2020.

Open to all artists ages 18 and over in the United States. Entries may not have shown previously at Mills Pond Gallery. All work must be original and must have been completed in the last four years. No reproductions or giclees.

All works must be professionally presented and display-ready. Works must not exceed 60” in width, 84” height including mat and frame. Gallery Wrap or Museum Wrap Canvas preferred. No work under glass. Work may not be withdrawn before May 29, 2020

Thomas Germano is a Full Professor of Art and Art History at Farmingdale State College. He also teaches graduate seminars at The New York Academy of Art and CW Post/LIU. Thomas holds an MFA in Painting from Yale University and a BFA from Cornell University, concentrating in painting and art history. Sales will be encouraged. STAC will receive a 30% gallery commission on all work sold. No POR (Price on Request) is allowed. NFS (Not for Sale) is acceptable.
