Spaces - Surfaces Festival

International Deadline: July 19, 2018 Its Liquid Group in collaboration with Venice Events and Ca Zanardi, is selecting all interesting photo, video-art, painting, installation, performance art works, and design/architecture projects to include in Spaces Its Liquid International Art and Architecture Festival.

Spaces is the third appointment of Surfaces Festival that will be hosted in Venice, at Palazzo Ca Zanardi, from September 27, 2018 to November 25, 2018, and at The Room Contemporary Art Space, from September 28, 2018 to November 25, 2018, and other prestigious venues and historical buildings, during the same period of the Biennale Architettura 2018 16th International Architecture Exhibition, with a rich program of different events until November 2018. We will give audience the possibility to have private meetings with artists, architects and designers, to meet them personally and share their art and experience. Each exhibition will have a strong program of video art screenings and premiers, art residencies, talks, workshops, live dj set, live experimental dance and art performances.

Surfaces Festival is organized and curated by Arch. Luca Curci (founder and director of The Room Contemporary Art Space, Its Liquid Group and Luca Curci Architects), in collaboration with Venice Events at The Room Contemporary Art Space, and organized and curated by Arch. Luca Curci and Andrea Chinellato (director of Palazzo Ca Zanardi) at Palazzo Ca Zanardi.

Spaces are abstract, infinite and conceptual. Are associated with a sense of freedom and infinite extension. Primarily experienced with the mind, spaces redefining their limits and borders, transforming surfaces in open flow of pure ideas.

Each exhibition will present an exclusive selection of artworks, video screening program, intense live performances, with its own dedicated opening ceremony and PR campaign. At the end of the whole festival there will be the publication of a catalogue.

During these main events, will be presented works of photography, painting, sculpture/installation, design and architecture, video-art and live performance.
